Case Study: Crocs Pride Campaign – "Love As You Are"
Collaborating with Movetic on the Crocs Pride campaign, "Love As You Are," was an inspiring opportunity to elevate LGBTQIA visibility and understanding. As the only gay member of their small team, I was able to bring personal insights to the project, helping shape an authentic campaign that celebrates individuality and self-expression.
Working closely with Movetic’s creative directors, I produced campaign concepts and guided staging plans for the photoshoots, ensuring a cohesive vision that would resonate with the LGBTQIA community. I also collaborated with the Crocs team to align on campaign execution and served as talent acquisition lead—a highlight that allowed me to bring together friends from Hillcrest, a vibrant LGBTQIA neighborhood in San Diego. Each individual who participated in this project is someone I’ve connected with through my own journey as a gay member of the community, and each has contributed something meaningful and special to Pride.
I provided outfit and theme concepts to each model prior to the shoot to help bring the ideas to life. By facilitating communication as the main point of contact between my friends for Crocs and Movetic, I ensured that energy and authenticity came to the forefront, making "Love As You Are" a campaign that truly reflected Pride and celebrated the diversity and spirit of the LGBTQIA community.
